what is the Western Vista community foundation?
In July 2015, the Western Vista Community Foundation was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Wyoming.
The foundation was established to support three community goals:

- Community Support: activities that help in improving the lives of children and adults and is the foundation’s way of giving back to the communities served by Western Vista Federal Credit Union.
- Community Education: educational opportunities focused on, but not limited to, financial literacy.
- Community Development: participation in government and economic programs for the benefit of the communities we serve.
- Community Support: activities that help in improving the lives of children and adults and is the foundation’s way of giving back to the communities served by Western Vista Federal Credit Union.
In early 2019, the foundation became a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Currently, the foundation is focused on growing its account balance so it can honor future requests for support.
