STEVEN LEAFGREEN TO CHAIR LARAMIE COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION BOARD

(March 20, 2019) – Cheyenne, WY – Steven Leafgreen, president/CEO of Western Vista Credit Union was recently elected chairman of the board for the Laramie County Library Foundation board of directors. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based organization. The main goal of the Foundation is to raise funds for the System to support innovative programming and services, as well as the expansion of the library’s award-winning collections.

Western Vista Announced as a PR News Finalist

(January 20, 2019)  – Cheyenne, WY – Western Vista Credit Union has been named a finalist for the PR News Corporate Social Responsibility Awards in the “CSR on a Shoestring Budget” category. In 2017, Western Vista coordinated an effort to recycle solar eclipse glasses after the solar eclipse. The credit union collected more than 5,500 pairs of solar eclipse glasses and sent them to the non-profit organization, Astronomers Without Borders.
