What is AdvancePay?

With AdvancePay (also known as early ACH), your paycheck may be available early.* This service is free on all accounts with direct deposit. Timing varies, but if your employer provides payment in a way that makes your deposit eligible for AdvancePay, you may see your deposit two to four days before payday!

Do I need to sign up for ADVANCEPAY?

No! AdvancePay is a free service available with Western Vista accounts. No catch. No enrollment. If you’ve set up direct deposit, there’s nothing additional you need to do. Stop waiting and start getting paid early with your AdvancePay direct deposit!

How do I set up direct deposit?

Work with your employer or or government payroll provider to enroll in direct deposit with Western Vista Credit Union. You’ll need:

  • Our routing number: 307086714
  • Your member number
  • Account type
Why didn’t I get my direct deposit early?

There could be a few reasons your deposit didn’t hit your account early. It could be because:

  • You recently set up direct deposit (sometimes it takes a cycle or two before your direct deposit will show up on an early report)
  • Your deposit type isn’t eligible (like a transfer between bank accounts)
  • Your employer or payroll provider didn’t provide the deposit to us earlier than the effective date
is advancepay only applicable to paychecks?

AdvancePay is available for any funds set up to be deposited electronically. This includes things like government benefits, tax refunds, pensions and more.

Will funds always arrive early?

No. Early availability cannot be guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit, including those from the same payor.

Will I be notified if my deposit arrives early?

You can customize a deposit alert with your expected direct deposit amount and get notified when your paycheck hits your account via online banking and/or the mobile app.

does advancepay apply to outgoing ach payments?

No, AdvancePay does not apply to outgoing payments.

*AdvancePay is available for Western Vista Credit Union members who set up direct deposit with their employer or other payer into their Western Vista account to receive electronic deposits of regular periodic payments (such as salary or government benefits). We will post ACH deposits immediately upon receipt from the Federal Reserve, which may result in deposits showing earlier than the effective date. However, early posting is not guaranteed and is contingent upon receiving the deposit earlier than the effective date. This is not a payday advance.
