Roth IRA

Traditional IRA
A traditional IRA is primarily an individual savings plan that gives you tax advantages.
Contributions are made up to a IRS specified limit and are tax deductible, depending on the filing status. Money invested and earned in a traditional IRA is subject to income taxes at the time of withdrawal.
Withdrawals can be made without penalty after the age of 59 ½. Minimum withdrawals must generally be made from the account at the age of 70 ½.
